Welcome to WisCon!
Welcome to the WisCon Ethical Hacker's website. WisCon is a network instrusion party that happens once a year in Appleton, Wisconsin. This is a party for people who are interested in computer security. There are multiple challenges that can be sought after during this event, like Wi-Fi cracking, packet sniffing, and various penetration testing games. People will work in small groups to achieve different access levels and score points along the way. It's a fun time to get together with friends and learn something new about computer security.
This website also features a 1337 login. After you register, you will be able to work on puzzles that will let you progress throughout multiple login screens. The puzzles may include anagrams, JavaScript, hidden text, or any variation of technologies. WisCon strongly discourages any use of denial of service or penetration testing against any of our public facing servers. All the needed information will be contained specifically on the 1337 login page. So to avoid any legal consequences, we strongly discourage the use of any intrusive software.
